Made from 100% silk in a rich white colour, the Menwith Hankie provides the perfect finishing touch to your tuxedo, suit or blazer. It is constructed to a 33cm x 33cm diameter, and features machine-finished edges.
Made from silk, a natural fibre with sheen and lustre, this pocket square adds the requisite level of distinction to all formal outfits - particularly black tie. For the latter, we suggest adding a touch of 'sprezzatura' by using a lateral 'presidential' fold. Simply fold the pocket square in half, then fold it again and again in half until it fits inside your jacket pocket. Leave 0.5-1cm of pocket square edge (not the fold) sitting above the jacket pocket. A more spontaneous fibre than cotton or linen, we prefer silk's loose drape because of its nonchalant qualities.

Fibre History
Silk comes from the cocoon of the silkworm, a type of caterpillar that is native to China.
The cocoons are harvested and the silk fibres are carefully unravelled and spun into threads, which are then woven into fabric.
Silk has a natural lustre and sheen, but is also a strong and durable fibre that can withstand repeated wear and handling. It is also naturally moisture-wicking, which means that it can absorb sweat and other moisture without becoming damaged or discoloured.
